What kind of spider is this?

I rarely find spiders in my home so i was very surprised to find this little guy running along my childs bedroom floor! Then I found another in the corner of the wall! They are different looking than any spiders I've seen, so i googled it. silly me, shouldn't have done that. Now im worried ive got an infestation of false widows. Anyone think its a false widow or something that just looks like one?

I think its just a house spider

It’s quite hard to see but I think it might be a false widow. I wouldn’t panic though, we get them quite a lot and ignore each other! My husband did get bitten by one several years ago though and it was quite nasty.

False widow

They don’t like being bothered or bothering humans so chances are it’s just got lost and made a wrong turn to end up in your house.

False widow. You can tell because it looks like a scull on their backs.

Yeah false widow. We get them in our house sometimes and were worried because we’d seen the reports of people having really bad reactions from bites. Turns out it’s very rare to react badly though, so don’t worry.
