To think that the best superpower would be freezing time?

Was chatting with the kids about what superpower we would pick if we had the choice. I reckon being able to freeze time would be the best. Rules would be -

1. everyone and everything on earth would freeze stationary apart from you.
2. All ageing/degeneration would pause (you included). You could get so much done! You could have time to prepare yourself mentally for anything.

do you agree?

I'd go for mind reading and invisibility!
Though id love a magic wand for the housework 😂

Time travel. I’d go ahead a couple of days, find out the lottery numbers, come back and buy myself a ticket using those numbers 😂

I would like invisible teleportation, while sleeping. I reckon I could fix a lot of ‘problems’ while maintaining the alibi of being asleep in my bed . Like an invisible Villanelle.

I think of this often if I cannot sleep. I don’t care if that makes me a bit psycho.

I have given this some thought. I think a time rewind power would be useful. You'd use it differently if it was 30 secs, 5 mins, an hour or a day. But I think infinitely powerful

No way, teleporting myself and others would be my first choice (instant travel and safety to exit whenever) and then speaking any language in the world would be the secondary complementary power!

It’s the Middle Aged mum’s dream superpower. Imagine getting everything done and time for a rest. I often think about it.

There used to be a kids programme about a girl who was maybe part alien who could do this by putting her index fingers together. The theme tune was “would you like to wish on a star, carry moon beams home in a jar … or are you better here on earth”

Id like the ability to selectively read minds.

I don't want to know what the dog, the neighbours and the fly are thinking. Just if I choose to, read the mind of that person there who is quietly sitting in a coffee shop.
