Just a bit of an observation of a family I vaguely know who posted a video showing them bursting into tears when a couple aged 30 - who had been together since they were teenagers and owned a home together - announced their engagement. Why were they acting shocked and why did the young women need to wait for some over the top proposal in this day and age? Am I missing something, lol.
