To ask if this is too soon for first shoes?

Baby is 9 months, not yet pulling to stand or cruising but likes standing if we put her there. Is it too early to go and get measured for some little pre walker / crawling type soft soled shoes? I know barefoot is best so it would only really be for at classes & out and about where she might want to practise walking out the house.

Leave it as long as you possibly can, it’s so much better for their feet and their little bones in their feet.

Way too early. No need for shoes until they are walking outside.

My son started walking at 9 months but we didn’t get him actual shoes until a fair bit later. I just didn’t let him walk outside.
I did however get him some kind of soft soled slipper type things to wear to baby classes as the floors are often that shiny wooden sports hall type, so a bit slippery for a wobbly baby walking around. But they were essentially just a slipper, nothing very structured or with a proper sole yet, but with little grippy blobs on the bottom.

Jojo Mamam Bebe do those slipper sock things with the grips on the bottom, I’d give those a go first.
