To be so upset & worried about this?

So sorry if this is the wrong place to post this - I’m just massively worrying about it.

So, I list items on Facebook marketplace, I received a message about an hour ago from what was obviously a fake account but it has a screenshot of my partner on the page ‘are we dating the same guy’ and it said there were 10 comments listed (but couldn’t read them from the screenshot)

i tried to message the account back but it looks like it has now been deactivated - I’ve requested to join the group but haven’t been accepted yet.

I messaged my partner (he’s at his house) he called me and said that it’s his ex being a
psycho’ I’ve never seen or spoken to his ex so don’t know why would send this now? Just worried he’s cheating :(

You’ve been blocked, that’s why you can’t see I suspect.
How long have you been with your partner, any red flags? (Aside from calling his ex a psycho…).

Only since January, so not long at all. Not really any that stand out but seems a bit odd to have suddenly received this message - my gut instinct says something is wrong x

The fb group “Are we Dating the Same Guy” is how I found out my partner of 4 years was leading a double life. From my experience on there, it seems quite legit. Note that there is usually a separate group for different regions eg. north west etc.

Really sorry to hear that, how horrible for you. Yes the picture was from my local group - I’m guessing someone has been speaking to him and they wanted to let me know anonymously. Just feel really betrayed :(

So people can see your names on that page and you can see theirs? I know you can't go on at the moment but please can you let me know when you do? I really hope everything's okay. I do feel for you.

You can see who’s joined the group but most people post as ‘anonymous viewer’ but that makes sense as a lot of the posts are warning about DV so they are probably scared of their ex’s finding out they posted x

Just because someone posted it on one of those ridiculous groups does not mean in the slightest that’s it’s true. They allow people to post anonymously.
My partner was posted and it was followed up with me being messaged by a woman on instragram saying they had been messaging yet she would send me no proof. I realised the account was fake and I found the real account she had been copying the photos from, it was all a horrendous plot to try and split us up. I know it was his ex behind it as she is really jealous of our relationship.
I hope you got this sorted and didn’t believe a word of it without proof, those groups are disgusting and should be shut down.
