Same. No advice, just, same…

saveforthat · 08/08/2025 19:31

Me too. I don't each much during the day but when the evening comes I can't stop.

This, I’m just sitting thinking of what to have next….

Mooflon12 · 08/08/2025 19:53

I ate a whole pizza from zizzi's this evening and then 2 desserts to myself. It's like there is just an empty hole 😭

I used to go for a walk in the evening but I recently lost my dog. I know you don't need a dog to go for a walk but it's easier to talk yourself out of it if you don't.

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 08/08/2025 19:55

Me too. I wfh and I'm constantly getting up and staring into the food cupboards and fridge looking for something.

Clockchair · 08/08/2025 19:55

Same, currently online looking at mounjaro...

Zempy · 08/08/2025 19:58

I used to be just the same. I’ve been on Mounjaro since January and have lost over four stone.

I just don’t feel that hungry…

hmmnotreallysure · 08/08/2025 19:58

Same!!
I have recently started intermittent fasting though so don't eat until 10.30 in the morning and don't eat after 6.30pm. I do still drink sugar free soft drinks though in the evening and I do still drink tea in the mornings, but I feel a little better for not eating late at night, I now need to start thinking about cutting down the bad stuff in the day time 😬.

Oh dear.

Mooflon12 · 08/08/2025 20:00

I was on mounjaro for a while which worked wonders until I developed an allergy 😥
I ended up covered in hives with hands puffed up like the elephant man! Tried wegovy and it did the same thing

I could eat the whole fridge the day before my period. I get the hormonal sugar cravings, followed by a massive migraine.... Except sugar cravings are also a migraine precursor for me so I usually end up with an obscene amount of sugar that day.

And yet I NEVER learn, because I should take a triptan when those sugar cravings kick in, yet I always seem to miss the cue.... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Jamfirstest · 08/08/2025 20:04

Have any of you been prescribed anti depressants? They fecked my appetite and sugar cravings like you can’t imagine and I put on 2 stone. I wanted to eat buckets of sweets it’s bizarre. Never again!

Me neither. Except for the day before my period.

I suppose I should be happy I only manage to eat about half the chocolate I used to on that day....

Dingledongledell · 08/08/2025 20:09

I brush my teeth after dinner. Helps the willpower a little.

What time do you go to sleep? I try that but find I can’t sleep well on an empty stomach

Mirtazipine? I got these and couldn’t stop eating even though my stomach hurt it was that stuffed. It messed my metabolism up as well!

hmmnotreallysure · 08/08/2025 20:35

@Unforgettablefire well I'm off work for the summer hols so it's a bit later than usual. But I normally go to bed at 10ish. On the evenings when I'm really hungry then I'll have a hot chocolate with a small amount of milk in it, I know you're not supposed to have anything but I kind of think it's better to have that than be miserable!
I would love to have the weight loss injections but just can't afford it. Food is on my mind constantly but I'm actually finding that it isn't as much now that I can't eat in the evenings, I know I cant eat so I guess there's no point in thinking about it!

I have a dog so no excuse there! I walk them every morning before work and do exercise classes and go running but still want to snack at 8pm

CbeeGeeBee · 08/08/2025 20:53

Just go on Mounjaro like everyone else is….

Not everyone can afford to go on the weight loss jab.

Jellywobbles2 · 08/08/2025 20:57

I can’t stop eating when I’m wfh on my own which is most of the time now. I used to have great willpower. I don’t want to take diet drugs I know it’s not the answer and the cynic in me says there’ll be some nasty side effects coming to light. They are already.

merryhouse · 08/08/2025 20:59

I can often fool myself with PLJ in a pint of fizzy water. Not always.

Less frequently, I have got away with imagining I've eaten a spoonful of peanut butter.
