Has anybody read this book and can help me, it’s confusing me but I’m enjoying it so don’t want to give up.
This is what’s confusing me..
The book starts with Scott and Beatrix falling in love ect and moving to Brighton.
Scott is arrested due to accusations from Mirabelle (friend of 2 years)
The confusing part is Scott’s wife is being referred to by Scott as TB and everyone else calls her Tami.
Tami’s best friend of 9 years is Beatrix?!?
There is no reference to Scott and Beatrix splitting and him getting with Tami yet staying friends with Beatrix, is it the same Beatrix from the beginning of the book? Like I said I’m enjoying but listening on audible and I’m wondering did they miss a chapter?

Been a while since I read this so I just had to go back and flick through it. Beatrix is Scott and Tami's neighbour in Brighton. She didn't meet Scott in the past and move to Brighton with him, that was Tami. The chapters are told by different characters. Maybe that makes it a bit confusing to follow as an audio book. I don't know how far you've got with it so I don't want to give away any spoilers but I found it a bit of an odd book - the ending seemed to come out of nowhere!

Thanks, so I’ve muddled the names up, Tami is the same person Scott met at school/college, got pregnant and moved to Brighton with? Beatrix is just a friend that they made in Brighton?
