Vinted Problem

Hi
I ordered a large item. When I went to collect there was a tiny package with a different item in but with the correct tracking number. Sent photos. They have said not enough proof and dismissed my claim and paid the seller. I don't think the seller was at fault. Most likely courier company...
Any advice?

I had this, I ordered a jacket and was sent a small package containing false eyelashes. I took photos and was given a refund. If you see listings in another language and with no reviews be wary.

Hi I ordered a largish mirror and got a sweat shirt. Person selling the mirror was a regular on Vinted and seemed very genuine.

They have not believed me. They have the photos ...

I find it hard to believe that if you send photos of the packaging and the item then they'd disagree it was correct

Did you fail to send back the item when requested?

Why are you finding it hard to believe? I have not been asked to send the item I received back as the person who sold the mirror did not send a sweat shirt. She sent a mirror.

Has the seller also provided Vinted with photos of the package they sent? Have you asked the seller if they attached/printed the label themselves?

I received some shoes once instead of a dress that I’d bought. I contacted the seller and she’d got the labels mixed up when sending multiple packages. I’ve also had it happen where sellers have used InPost digital labels and InPost have mixed up the labels.

Just request a return and send it back; you’ll get your money back

So the courier could have easily made a mistake, and/or if the packaging and size doesn’t match what you ordered/were sent, how can it be your fault? I’d challenge Vinted about the buyers protection you paid as you should be covered by “significantly not as described”.

This has happened to me and I did get a refund in the end. Take photos of the outside of the package with the tracking clearly visible. It should be clear from the size of the package that your ordered item could not have fit in there. Say that to vinted,

I have sent the photos and it is so obvious. I said I had a problem. Can I get my Credit Card involved? They keep saying case us closed.

I have asked to claim on Buyer's Protection and Vinted ignoring my messages.

Anyone know how to get some sort of justice?
