Has it been fun? I haven't opened any of them tbh. I'm not a SAHM for a start, but I really really wish I was! Hardest and loveliest job in the world imho!

2shoes · 28/05/2008 17:58

I'd love that, we could swap tips on how to be even more idle.
I'll start with suggesting doing the school run in pyjamas, further from that, don't bother hoovering, your DC will be so hungry when they get home, they'll hoover the crumbs up.
Ta Da, no need for a Dyson

if we do, I will hide it.

hercules1 · 28/05/2008 18:12

Only if we can have a wohm one.

Twiglett · 28/05/2008 18:13

If that is the defining requirement for a new board I think we should have a bitches topic and an 'is it a full moon?' topic

posieparker · 28/05/2008 19:42

Maybe SAHMs could then have a little gripe without being attacked and told to go to work?? Pah, who am I kidding????
I never post on any thread about SAHMs

scottishmummy · 28/05/2008 19:48

oh aye another argy bargy topic about SAHM. nice because it never gets discussed on MN

posieparker · 28/05/2008 19:54

What about a topic that combines feeding and SAHM/WOHM?

Anna8888 · 28/05/2008 19:55

posieparker - I do so agree, SAHMs are never allowed to complain about anything without being told that the absolutely only and final solution to all their problems in life is to get a job

Now I have a (very part time) job, I no longer get attacked when I start threads about my own problems.

TheFallenMadonna · 28/05/2008 19:56

Noooo. It'll go the way of G&T and Home Ed. They're the shoutiest threads around I reckon.

scottishmummy · 28/05/2008 20:07

gin & tonic?great idea folk should drink more before they post i say.not wandered onto Home ed thread

loler · 28/05/2008 20:13

Ohhhh a thread about gin - where?

Could also pull in child models and early weaning.

scottishmummy · 28/05/2008 20:19

what about early weaning baby models topic. combine two appropriate topics

posieparker · 28/05/2008 20:20

...... and for good measure, porn and brazilians.

AMumInScotland · 28/05/2008 20:47

We should just have a "Pointless Repetitive Arguments" topic, and a button to click on posts to instantly transfer them to it when they reach that I'm-losing-the-will-to-live stage...

posieparker · 28/05/2008 21:07

What about 'no matter how many times you say your opinion I will never agree' threads?

scottishmummy · 28/05/2008 21:29

the "bang yer head off a brick wall with the same ole mantra thread"

form a disorderly queue about

sahm Vs Working parent
Feeding your baby
Schools
Kids at weddings

plenty will come too

Lollypopzmummy · 28/05/2008 22:38

FRUIT SHOOT!

Lollypopzmummy runs from room ing>>>

scottishmummy · 28/05/2008 22:46

loler · 29/05/2008 21:18

I am a SAHM so didn't realise it was wrong to give my 3wk child model a fruit shoot at a wedding held at a steiner school just before its mmr.

mamalovesmojitos · 29/05/2008 22:35

rofl loler, that has to be quote of the week

2sugars · 29/05/2008 22:38

lol, muggle, get a Roomba! Or, even better, get a nanny while you're a SAHM. I've seen it done!
