I spent the day at a birthday party where two horrible women blanked me and then got home and the straighteners had been left on so the new carpet is burnt. Make me feel better by telling me im not the only one who's had a duff Sunday!!!

There was no mint sauce in the fridge so I whizzed to the mini sainsburys to buy one, then found a jar in the cupboard.

went to bed last night with expectations that Sunday would be a good ‘life admin’ day. Did exactly zero admin, and haven’t even thought about Sunday dinner. Will probably have some toast and go to bed earlyish.
Ah well, there’s always next week….

Daughter bought brand new jeans then dropped bottle of blackcurrant squash on the floor, they are trashed

Not today, but I took my 7 year old to the dentist the other day and he said he was sick. I thought he was just tired and I was in a huge panic/rush because id had to park far down the road because the car park was full. He ended up puking on the waiting room floor and I felt like the worst mum in the world for not taking him home when he first told me he was sick (even though he often says it and he's ok)

I made my first cup of tea of the day without a teabag. We have a new shower with a fancy hinged door, the husband had to rescue me because I couldn't open it from the inside.

Planned a productive day but had awful stomach cramps all day so been on sofa being grumpy. Nothing prepared for next week of summer holidays…gah

Found the tub of ice cream in the cupboard and the chocolate sauce in the freezer, only discovered when I went to make myself one this evening. It's been there since mid week when i last made one. Silly thing is I've been in that cupboard loads all week

Actually this was DD yesterday. She had made a breakfast/brunch for the two of us of sausage and scrambled egg and also made herself a cup of Ribena as she said she had a catchy throat. She came to the table to dish the sausages onto the plates and one of them landed in the Ribena!
She didn't want that sausage or the ribena after that!

My kids have turned what would have been a perfectly OK Sunday into a hellish one by arguing and fighting all day. Quite a lot of the childcare I had lined up for the week ahead has fallen through and I now have an unexpected and urgent work task to complete this week which will take hours.

and I have proper raging PMT!
