Well on that topic, newbie here, has anyone read 'The Big Fat Bitch Book' By Kate Figes. It is how I found this site actually. She talks brilliantly about how women are inherently bitchy and it is actually a defence/survival mechanism......

Men are more physically agressive and work it off through sport whereas women use gossip and bitching as a release. It is worth a read.

There are some bitches, just as there is out there in the real world. There's also a number of self-opinionated people who seem unable to give their opinion without getting very stroppy (and spitting the dummy) when someone else disagrees. One of the pleasures of getting older is being able to sit back, smirking whilst thinking "wait 'til you're really grown up and see things as they really are". Then there are those who are just blatently honest and 'say it like it is'.

However, I wouldn't let the few who are bitchy or/and self-opinionated put you off. There are a lot of people on here who do give good advice and support.
