Understanding isn’t the same as unlimited tolerance.

Not another one of these posts without any context and only one sentence?? Is this a bot?

accommodations and unlimited tolerance are quite different. It’s such a sweeping statement you’re made, of course yanbu.

I suspect you’ve got a particular situation in mind that has got your back up? It might be more fruitful to discuss that.

Not a bot - just keeping the post short on purpose. It’s something I’ve seen come up in work and social settings lately, so I wanted to hear different perspectives without over-explaining upfront.

You’re right, they’re not the same and I’m glad you picked up on that. I’ve just seen a few situations recently where ‘accommodation’ seems to get stretched into something unsustainable for others involved. It made me wonder where people draw the line between compassion and practicality, especially in group or work settings.

Well no, the phrase is reasonable accommodations

Oh well then, my apologies and at first glance I would say YANBU
