Grandmamma Thistle clearly has history with Wise Old Elf- "Hello Cedric, Hello Millicent".

I love the posh relatives, King & Queen Marigold. The episode where they come to the little castle for dinner & Nanny Plum serves them steam of soup. Because it's modern! Oh, and the episode where Grandmamma Thistle gives Poppy & Daisy new wands.

I LOVE this show. Yes, it was a spin off from Peppa Pig. Many of the voice actors are the same. There is an episode of Peppa where Daddy Pig is looking at a map- and it's the map of The Little Kingdom.

I'm camping at the moment, and in the bathrooms this morning heard a dad speaking to his two kids, age ~3+5, called Ben and Holly. And now I'm thinking... Does he know? Was that on purpose?

Miles better than Peppa Pig ..there was an episode when B&H went to the big girls house and there's a toy Peppa in her room. I remember once my kids have left the room and I realised I just had carried on watching. Teens now and one if them put it on all day when she was poorly.

No! I would've been on the floor laughing.

Then again, they are both perfectly nice names.

Reminds me of being at Sth Melb market (I'm in Australia) loading the car with purchases for a work event. The mum in the car next to us was also trying to load her purchases but she had 2 small girls. She yelled "Shakira! Get off Beyonce!" I almost died.

I love Ben and Holly- definitely one of the best programmes for kids (and adults).

DD has been watching Ben and Holly in Spanish for revision (thank you Netflix!). Its brought back great memories!
