Ladies with big feet

Yet again, I am browsing for trainers and I am having to look at mens trainers. Size 9 so not huge by todays standards but not that many companies make shoes for women with big feet.
The trans person in my office (who always leaves the toilet seat up in the ladies loos btw - very feminine!) has huge feet but manages to find nice ladies shoes that fit them.
Is there magical trans shoe shops? Are women allowed to shop there too?
My hope is that since so many men want to be women us women with big feet might soon have loads of choice for our big clown feet.
Not really AIBU just not sure where else to post.
It just pisses me off that women with big feet aren't deemed dainty enough to deserve nice shoes in nice colours. I want bright pink trainers in size 9 that are designed for womens bodies. Not mens trainers....

I'm a size 3. But I do know that Clarks and Clarks Outlet go up to size 9 in women's shoes.

DD2 is size 9.5/10 and so many girls are tall these days, I'm surprised that so many shops only go to an 8 or 9.

spoonbillstretford · 05/08/2025 14:28

She has plenty of trainers, it's general shoes that are the issue. You can get them on Amazon but the quality can be variable to say the least.

The link I posted has shops all over the world listed as suppliers of larger sized shoes. International delivery is very rarely not possible.

In fact I’m going to get on a plane from where I live and fly to Milan then do my planned across Europe inter-railing to covering as many shoe shops as museums and art galleries.

@silversmith Saxone!! That's a blast from the past!
I'm in my 50s too used to go there with my 'enormous' size 8s. I seem to remember Evans sold larger shoes as well.

Evans are/ were? fine if your feet were larger in all directions. Mine are long & narrow. Or at least not wide.

Edited to add I’ve just looked up Evans for the first time in ages & see that they now stock the old Long Tall Sally range of shoes. Can’t see any physical stores though, so still online shopping with no trying on before buying

Dolcis was another shoe shop along the same lines of Saxone.

Mary46 · 06/08/2025 12:23

Asda do 9s. Find some suggestions the shoes are mad money! Shoezone were in dublin pity they gone had 9.

Hankunamatata · 06/08/2025 12:30

Sketchers online. Love my slip ins

StrictlySequinsandStiIettos · 06/08/2025 12:38

Size 8 here
Got some lovely trainers with flowers all over them from Asda and some bright pink Doc Martens
Why don't you just ask your colleagues where they they got their shoes from as you like them? I am sure they'd appreciate the compliment.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/08/2025 13:06

Evans go to a size 11
Birkenstocks
Skechers run big,I always have to size down.

I second asking your colleague where they shop and while you're at it complain about the loo seat situation!

Jumpthewaves · 06/08/2025 13:08

I find that Next are pretty good at stocking larger sizes.

PoxyAndIKnowIt · 06/08/2025 16:25

I was always an 8 (not a common size when I was younger, shops usually only went up to a 7!) but now I’m older and fatter I’m more of a 9 now, especially as I have to wear insoles.

I buy on Vinted! Just bought adidas pink trainers size 9 and there was lots of other size 9s (and larger) too. It is a risk when you’re not sure if a company’s sizing, but there is plenty of choice of all different sorts of women’s shoes in larger sizes there.

Elisabennet · 02/11/2025 08:20

I am a UK size 11 and it's a nightmare. Have bought many pairs of shoes thinking, yes a little short but that'll do. In reality it never does, but sick of wearing men shoes
