A very hypothetical question about Only Fans.

This is 100% hypothetical.

If you could launch a very successful and lucrative OF account that would never involve you being recognised, or doing anything that involves sex or nudity, would you?

For example, let’s say you discovered a niche where pervs with eyelash fetishes would pay to see images of the lash that fell out and you found on your cheek? Or pics of just toenail clippings. Setting up an account would involve minimal work, and you’d rake it in.

Would you do it?

I think I would. The idea of men stupid enough to part with their money for weird fetishes that requires no effort on my part quite appeals!

YANBU= Absolutely I would.
YABU= No, never.

(And I’m genuinely asking as a hypothetical question- unless there’s a perv out there with a thing for photos of a middle-aged woman’s ironing pile. Then again, you’d never know!)

I don’t know. I think it would take quite a lot of energy and effort to make any OF account really successful and lucrative, what ever the kink.
Even for really experienced sex work people, the vast majority don’t earn much from it. There are a very tiny minority of accounts that make very high income! It’s rare. Most make not a lot, while still putting in a lot of time.

If it was really really easy, low energy and wouldn’t get a bad reputation AND make a fortune, yes absolutely I would.

Why not! Hmm i wonder if there's a niche for horribly bunion-ed feet...

EveryKneeShallBow · 28/07/2025 14:35

Yep. Absolutely 💯

I don't mean this in a holier that thou way but no. I do think it's immoral that men give in to urges and fetishes of this nature (and worse, obviously), and I also think it's therefore wrong to be involved on any level and would thus avoid. I don't have any judgment towards those that do on a personal level as i can see the temptation but I also think the action of participating is a mistake. It feels icky and depraved and so facilitating in that has to be a hard no too. We need to aspire to better and that means anonymously as well as publicly.

But even if the activity focuses on something that you yourself don’t feel is sexual/depraved, and you’re not actively engaging with it, just posting photos that do not show you/your body/your home?

Back to my eyelash example, I can think of nothing less noteworthy than an eyelash that has fallen off. I wouldn’t associate it with any sexual activity so I think I could completely detach myself from that sexual mindset.

(Obviously I’m scrambling for examples here as I’m pretty certain that there is a man out there who will have a kink for the most insignificant thing).

Part of me thinks I’d absolutely do it and if a man is stupid enough to part with his money, more fool him. However, another part of me understands that for a lot of men, the kink isn’t the activity itself, but the fact that they feel that they can control women by turning them into a service.

Yes, I know a woman in her 60s who makes around a couple of hundred per month just doing housework on there.

Nothing sexy at all, no dirty talk or outfits or anything, she simply films herself hoovering or doing the dishes and she's got a few subscribers.

If I could be arsed with housework I would do it myself.

I don’t know why but this really made me laugh. Is there nothing men won’t fetishises?

Barney16 · 28/07/2025 16:37

I genuinely don't know how I know this, must have been on the telly, but one lady caresses stones.

junkmaail · 28/07/2025 16:40

Absolutely!

Jennyathemall · 28/07/2025 16:42

You do know OF isn’t only for sex related content right? While the overwhelming majority is sex related there is still a significant chunk which have non sex related content. There’s people on there with accounts covering baking or fitness or niche music or any number of things. It’s for fans of anything - anything people are willing to pay for. Though FYI you can also set up a free OF account as well open to anyone if your intent is not to make money but to just share.

No, because then I'd be part of the problem and no better than people doing it their own way. Also it's a slippery slope, a wealthy wierdo has been drooling over toes for months then begs to see an armpit offering more money, then it will be a nipple or whatever. At what point do you draw the line?

Having had some encounters with submissive men… no. Ever heard of topping from the bottom? I haven’t yet met an alleged submissive who doesn’t. And in this scenario they would think they’d bought you. It’s not pleasant.

If I’d been in the sort of situation where I’d had to walk the streets or even work in one of those horrific German brothels, I can well imagine that OF seems like heaven in comparison. But it’s a pyramid scheme, fundamentally.

No because people by and large aren't paying a subscription for pictures you post to everyone, they're paying for a personal sort of service and I absolutely don't wish to have intimate conversations with strangers, much less with strangers who would pay to subscribe to only fans.

Same. These things always sound great, but the thing is you're selling a grotesque fantasy to grim perverts and they will absolutely want you to provide a 'service'. Even if it's just having conversations with them about eyelashes, they're going to be telling you all about their responses and expecting you to - erm, humour them. I'd be able to get through it a few times by thinking about my bank balance, but I'd rapidly start hating them / myself and feeling very sick of it.
