Tricky colleague

I find said colleague difficult to work with…

I did them a favour by helping them out with something and later asked if they could give me access to the key materials. They said it was highly confidential and they didn’t really want to be put in that position so I would have to ask our team lead. They were a bit condescending about it - “I’m sure you don’t want me to be put in a difficult position”…

I then politely messaged team lead saying that I’d be keen to understand the wider impact of my work etc, could I be added and if so, I would let colleague know - next thing I know, I’m added and colleague has messaged me asking to be cc’d next time.

i feel I can’t do wrong for doing right! What was wrong with my approach?!

Fuck the fucking colleague.

You did the right thing to approach a manager.

Got fuck all to do with cunty colleague. I'd ignore their sorry ass and not respond to him/her.

Honestly, try not to give it headspace. It's taken me a long time to learn and loads of people annoy me at work but you just have to let them get on with being their annoying silly selves.
