'Hello, I need to practise English in a family environment, do you live in that house? I cam to learn English but it's not going as I want. I'm a businessman, I need to speak and practise'

So you need to know if I, a young woman, live alone in my house in Norfolk, in order to know if you can practise English (as a businessman seeking business English in London) in a 'family' environment?

Should I remove my profile photo. This gives me such a bad feeling

I'd probably text, 'I do not live in the house. Air BnB is set up as an empty cottage for you to rent. If you wish to learn English I suggest you find a tutor near you and pay for that.'

I reported him. Defo suspicious since he just wanted one night. would probably do whatever he was gonna do and be gone back to his origin country before i could even report it

I list a property on Airbnb and do not have a profile picture at all; it isn’t mandatory.

We rented one recently from what, outwardly, appeared to be a man, who's profile stated he was in law enforcement. But having been there about 6 weeks we only ever dealt with a woman, and we figured she did that for this exact reason.

not sure how she got away with that, airbnb only lets you use the name on the ID card submitted

Surely this is a built in risk with air BnB? One of the many reasons I don't use it.

Overreaction. My youngest’s nursery manager uses Air B&B to rent out her annex. She has had some odd requests like this and also one asking if they could watch her cook for a weekend to learn. 🤣
