To ask for help with finding the right size for my photo print?

Very silly AIBU, but hoping someone might be able to help please.

I got a photo frame as a gift a while ago, and have finally found a photo I’d like to put in it. The photo I’ve found has huge sentimental value (have easily accessible back-up digital copies too), and I’d love to frame it.

The main issue is I’m not sure of the exact size of photo I can fit in it. I think the photo frame is out of stock, but I’ve found a link to it here, in case anyone can help with working out the photo size it fits: https://www.anthropologie.com/en-gb/shop/new-york-cityscape-photo-frame3.

I’ve ordered online prints in 7x5 inches/18x13cm
(too small for the frame) and 8x6 inches/20x15cm (too big). That makes me think that surely a 19x14cm print would fit? I’m not sure if they’re actually printed in that size though - I always thought 7x5 or 8x6 etc were the more common measurements.

AIBU to ask how I can find the right-sized measurements for the frame please? Very minor and daft AIBU, I know… but I’d be grateful for any help please. I rarely frame photos, and thought this would be straightforward!

Have you got a measuring tape / ruler to measure it? Doesn’t seem like there is anything online from a quick ChatGPT

Er.....use a ruler? Or a tape measure?

Frames usually come in standard sizes i.e. you print the picture out normally following one of the templates they offer, and it fits no problem, you just need to pick the sizing that is closest to the frame size. You might need to crop the photo, though. Here is a great article with photo cropping tips, it's mostly photography related but might be useful for you as well.

If you aren't sure, you can print the picture out at the photo store and take the frame with you to ask them about the correct sizings.
