if I decorate our bedroom without consulting dh on anything??

Basically dh is ok with decorating but would prefer not to do it, same with most things really!

I was wanting to decorate our bedroom as it is the same as when we moved in 18 mths ago and the pink floral border is getting to me, lol!!

I wanted it to be a surprise for dh so he doesn't have to worry about decorating the room but am worried he will moan if I don't consult him on colour scheme.

I have noticed things that he likes when we have been in DIY shops so am going to go along with what he likes so it should be ok, shouldn't it???

Am I worrying unnecessarily? I'm not going to let him see it until its finished, a bit of a surprise home makeover, lol!

DH really wouldn't care at all. He'd just be glad i had been done, without him having to be involved, lol.

I painted the kitchen last week. Dh found out I had done it when he got home from work. He really was not bothered abut not being consulted over colours, etc.

Only you know your dh and how he'd react.

Mine would be thrilled that it was done without him having to offer any opinions at all or pretend to be interested.

I thought so but wanted to check! Its always good to get others opnions before I plough ahead and do it! Not going to tackle it this week with the kids on half term!

Off to look at wallpaper and paint!
