I don't mind going to work. It's the 8 hour wait to go home that is just bullshit.

Try 12 1/2 hours 😆

Not at all. I have disagreements on here all the time. Debating is all part and parcel of MN.

But I can distinguish between pp and you, as you seek me out on random threads start personally attacking me and then 'back yourself up' with brand new usernames on the same thread to make it look as though I am being ganged up on.

Very transparent.

And you truly do think I’m Laura, the ex?

I am divorced
get on very well with my ex
my ex is single
our children are tweens
I work part time
my name begins with R

What comment? Where? Can you screen shot as genuinely no idea what you’re talking about with this one

At 20:29 under faceitprune:

'Oh. Shit. Don’t worry i won’t be engaging with you further. Just seen you’re all over mumsnet waxing lyrical about how we should all vote Reform '

Rather similar to: 'Shoehorning in Reform and how wonderful the party is; getting tied up in knots in support for the death penalty; calling people who don’t want to work lazy fuckers but also waxing lyrical about being 34 and spending her life pottering and doing big tasks like “unloading a big food delivery twice a week”

Not to mention the exact same comments you are making under all these different usernames that are a day old, mentioning my age and not working etc.

I screenshot everything. Just incase.

You hate the fact you are this easy to spot. If you didn't keep changing usernames (whilst still saying the exact same things) and following me on random threads to start arguments out of nowhere... it would be less obvious.

Alas.

Witting for the screen shot of this “word for word” post! All very strange

If people have concerns about other posters why don't they just take the matter up with MNHQ instead of throwing accusations around?

Exactly

rather that threats about being “pushed” to the limit.

I'm fairly new on here so not sure how to go about it. But I have private inboxed MNHQ if that is the way to go.

Someone will be seeing the screenshots that matter very soon.

I think the key is finding a job that doesn’t result in the Sunday dread. Most people don’t love their jobs, but if you can do something that you enjoy elements of, or at least enjoy the company culture etc, it can be mentally easier to get on with.

whitewineandsun · 27/07/2025 20:58

Well, this thread was spectacularly derailed...

I just landed a contract that will see me through August and September. It's not always bad, I guess.

Me too. I went down a rabbit hole and to be fair to @GreenGully the usernames she has accused of being someone she knows have all started the arguments with her for no reason on different threads, and those accounts were all made on the same day. So it's obvious rather than fishy.

None of the various usernames under suspicion have posted anything since the argument nor has Greengully so it looks they have got each other banned anyway.

@Greens0172 Hang in there. I find it defeating and depressing to think of work like another 30 years of this hell, because that is like a mountain you can't face climbing. Take it year by year and make changes to enter into something that is more tolerable to you.
