Did your parents buy your husband a wedding gift

My sister is getting married soon ish. Parents have bought my sister a small, thoughtful gift. And bought a couple’s gift.

They’re second guessing whether the norm is to buy something for my BIL?

No, what they have done is traditional. No need to buy him a separate gift. Hes already getting their daughter 🤣👍🏻

PIL bought us a joint gift - something for the house. My DF sorted out all the photo printing and albums in lieu of a gift, including an album for PIL. Neither ‘side’ bought individual gifts.

I’ve never heard of this. I didn’t have any gifts from my parents or in-laws, although my dad did give me money to pay for some of the wedding.
