I’ve been chatting to someone online tonight, we were talking about our kids and ages, he said “I like that yours are older”, as he wants to go out and do things
I don’t know why but this comment has bothered me, he hasn’t asked anything about them, he also said his two sons live with him but he never sees them, his youngest is only 16, as if I’m meant to be happy about that, I felt like replying well I’m glad you’re happy but I actually miss mine being small. Is this something to be bothered by?

Hmmm - difficult to tell, really. Not everyone enjoys the company of small kids. You’ll have to delve a bit deeper with your conversation or meet him, IRL, then decide. Personally I would go on my gut instinct after that.
