My brother popped in this evening he wanted some help with prepping for his job interview. I was dishing up dinner everyone was upstairs my brother was in the kitchen with me. DC then had diarrhoea in the downstairs toilet so I just gave my brother that plate whilst I attended to poo-gate. DH came downstairs whilst my brother was eating and I was cleaning up poo and gave me the most deadly stare. I said to him do you want your dinner now as sometimes he likes to have it later. He said I should have had mine first! He’s still going on about it!

Before I respond to your post, I’d like to know how you managed to access the internet in 1950??

What a massive baby.

Rooroobear · 17/07/2025 22:25

Oh throwing a mantrum….how attractive 🥱

ChocolateCinderToffee · 17/07/2025 22:38

So you were cooking dinner, clearing up after your child and helping your brother with his interview prep.

What was this prince among men you are married to doing upstairs, meanwhile?

Inertia · 17/07/2025 22:40

What he should have done was cleaned up your child while you finished dinner.

Floatingonahope · 17/07/2025 22:43

YANBU but… YABU to put up with that! Is he always like this?

OSTMusTisNT · 17/07/2025 22:43

Is this a zombie thread from 1950?

PyongyangKipperbang · 17/07/2025 23:08

So big man needs big man food first so your brother doesnt out Alpha him?

How pathetic.

ETA hope he gets a bug given that you dished Big Man's food up after the poonami!

zeibesaffron · 17/07/2025 23:10

Has he no common sense? has he lost the ability to use his arms? what a prick - don’t give this any air time!!

Hankunamatata · 17/07/2025 23:11

Why didn't he come and deal with poo gate while you were sorting dinner

whitewineandsun · 17/07/2025 23:11

How tf do these men manage to get married and procreate? Or get through life? Pathetic.

AppleKatie · 17/07/2025 23:12

What did you say when you finished laughing?

FOJN · 17/07/2025 23:14

Imagine having a strop after admitting you are too pathetic and useless to put food on a plate. I think people generally expect women to gloss over this kind of behaviour and be the peacemaker but I have limited patience for adults whining like children so I'd have told him to fuck off.

StarDolphins · 17/07/2025 23:14

Goodness me, what a brat! Does it really matter that the big boss of the house didn’t get his meal first!

WallaceinAnderland · 17/07/2025 23:26

M hm

ThreePointOneFourOneFiveNine · 17/07/2025 23:30

He expects you to leave his child covered in shit so that you can prioritise waiting on him? I’m sorry, but what the fuck?

Topsyturvy78 · 17/07/2025 23:41

Did he want to feed it to him as well?🙄🤔

Rabbitsockpeony · 17/07/2025 23:44

Eww, what an inadequate little twat he is.

Crinkle77 · 17/07/2025 23:46

Your husband is a misogynistic prick.

freerangethighs · 17/07/2025 23:46

Why would he have his first? Small child needing immediate attention takes precedence over any able adult, and a guest would normally be served first even if nothing unusual were going on.

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 17/07/2025 23:48

He's awful

He should have been in the kitchen helping with the meal prep or with the children's toileting , then he'd have known food is ready.

What in the 1950s Andrew Tate have I read!

cowpattern · 17/07/2025 23:48

Why are you with that man? 🤮

CountryMumof4 · 17/07/2025 23:48

My husband is feisty, but if he came out with something like that I'd laugh at him and leave him to serve himself. You had your hands full, he's a grown man and I'm assuming has full capacity to serve himself. He can make his own meals with that attitude.

Pizzagirly · 17/07/2025 23:50

How in gods name do women stomach such men.
Utterly pathetic.
I simply couldn't unsee such moronic behaviour.
Total ick.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 17/07/2025 23:50

Seriously, he is an absolute waster.
Why do you put it with him, controlling stroppy prick.
Can your family help you leave? Your brother will notice the attitude.

MalteserGeezee · 17/07/2025 23:51

Are his hands painted on?
