To send a child in for a few hours of nursery after vomiting?

DC threw up at nursery yesterday lunchtime so had to be collected. The 48 hours is up early afternoon tomorrow, will I look strange just taking them in for about 3 hours tomorrow, as I'm desperate to catch up on work?

Would people normally take back just for the afternoon or keep off for the whole day?

We encourage kids to come back to school lile that. So they miss a least as they can. BUT not when the child is still unwell. If your child has been ill - let them stay home. (If your child rushed lunch, then vomited after doing too many handstands, but was then fine since they got home.....then take them in. - if you see what i mean)

That’s fine OP. I used to take my child back 48 hours on the dot, even if it was part way through the day, and the nursery expected it.

Many kids go to nursery for just an AM or PM session anyway which is about 3 hours.

Thanks. Should have said, apparently they were a bit out of sorts at nursery, but were absolutely fine at home, just a little bit tired yesterday evening. Eating and drinking fine and no sign of any stomach issues from either end!
