Just that really!

I've just removed social media and news apps from my phone.

I've been enjoying the Merlin app. It helps you identify what birds you can hear singing. 🙂 Been using it a fair bit in my garden.

Can anyone recommend any other nice apps please?

My anxiety is awful at the moment and I need to try and get it reigned in.

Simple habit meditation app. There are lots of free meditations on there, no need to subscribe (although it might ask for card details when you sign up, it doesn’t take anything)

I have Marconi union weightless saved on YouTube. It’s a piece of music that is proven to reduce anxiety because it slows the heart rate and calms the mind. That’s good to listen too if you’re feeling stressed/anxious.

Yoga with Kassandra on YouTube is has lots of short 10 min yoga vids, some specifically for anxiety, that help too.

I hope things improve for you soon Flowers

Down Dog. It comes with various exercise apps and a meditation one. The yoga app is amazing, I use it every day.

I also have radio 3 set as my alarm via an automation, and then leave it on all morning, lovely.

I find the Calm app really good. Meditations, sleep stories and the like.
I also like Finch for keeping me on track.

Head spade is great if you want to take up mindfulness

I love the Merlin app! I've been using a mix of apps to get over workplace burnout recently. YouTube for yoga and exercise. Spotify for the Mindfulness book by Mark Williams and Danny Penman, it's an 8 week mindfulness meditation course which has been really impactful for me, plus there are loads of podcasts about walking, nature, countryside, guided meditations etc. Music and Mindfulness and Ramblings on BBC Sounds. And the OS Map app for walking routes - it combines well with the Merlin app!

I like the Finch app. Some of my goals are micro goals but I find it helps me to just keep making tiny bits of progress when things are really hard.

Thanks for all the recommendations. 🙂
