Need to get a washing machine and dryer? What brand?

I need to buy a new washing machine and dryer.
needs to be 10kg/11kg
And I would like a delay start function.
what are the best brands out there at the moment? Would prefer them to match if necessary thank you.

The best brand I've had is Hoover! Always lasts. My current one is 9 years old. Worst I've had is Indesit, does not last.

Miele, ideally with the TwinDos automatic detergent dispensing, some can also be connected to your network, and ping your phone when it's finished, which is handy if the machine is located out of ear shot.

They are generally more expensive, but in my experience work better last longer, much quieter and nicer to use, but are much heavier, which can be an issue if they need to go upstairs.

I also have a Miele TD, which works well and has some good features. Personally I would always keep them as separate devices if I have the space.

Amusingly, Steve Jobs (known to be a obsessive perfectionist) spent two weeks researching washing machines, guess which brand he bought in the end...
