To Expect Amazon ...

Hi everyone

My question is, am I unreasonable to expect Amazon to put right a major glitch which can cause our 'Ring' doorbell to be a complete waste of money?

The story:

If you watched 'Rip-Off Britain' this morning you probably saw this story. Basically, it seems that as well as making money off of thousands of people by making, and selling us the 'Ring' doorbell, Amazon are also selling via third parties, a cheap gadget, which can intercept the signal between the camera and the wifi, meaning that a criminal can completely bypass your security system, in order to steal your parcels, your car, or even burgle your home! Therefore, everyone who has paid out their cash in the hope of securing their home with a 'Ring' doorbell (although they think it might apply to other makes too) is no safer than they were before they bought them!

It seems that Amazon have been aware of this problem for at least 2 years according to the program, and yet have done nothing to resolve it. I'm not usually one for rabble rousing, but this has absolutely infuriated me, so I've set up a petition on 'Change.org' to try and get support from others who feel they have been ripped off by this, so we can put pressure on Amazon to put this glitch right, and give us back the peace of mind that we thought we had, by buying this item in the first place.
