To just have a bar of chocolate for my tea?

It is a nice one

Feel like poo physically and worse emotionally too.

The choc is tempting but I will hate myself for eating it, I know.

I wish I didn't have food issues too.

Don't have it if you will feel awful - have something different to usual

smittenkitten · 26/05/2008 18:18

Babe. I have often had a twix instead of a proper meal, but if it's going to make you feel worse - ie: give you sugar crash and make you feel bad then I'd suggest it's not worth it.

I really want to get to the point when whether or not I have a good day isn't determined by the numbers on my bathroom scales.

Please enjoy whatever you decide

VictorianSqualor · 26/05/2008 18:18

I had two bottles of Rose and a bar of green&blacks for tea sat night, chardonnay & a bar of G&B last night.
So no, not unreasonable at all

wingandprayer · 26/05/2008 18:18

Not if you really want to, but it doesn't sound like you do. Being serious, chocolate will be lovely while it lasts but resulting sugar crash later will make you feel far worse that you do at present. This does not sound ideal. Is there nothing else to eat in the house? Imagine how much nicer chocolate will be if you can feel better you've eaten a proper meal first?

It is pure comfort eating. And I know I am not going to get comfort in a chocolate bar -even if it is Green and Blacks fruit and nut.

Toast?

Followed by G&B if you still really want to?

MargaretMountford · 26/05/2008 18:30

would it help to say why you feel so crap just now ?

dizzydixies · 26/05/2008 18:31

VS

NotABanana · 26/05/2008 18:32

You a friend of boringboring, Pinions?

It sounds like you're not going to enjoy it, NAB (which is a crime in itself, since it's a Nice One )

Do something really quick - pasta or something - to take the edge off feeling hungry, then enjoy it properly on the sofa later.

Pinions · 26/05/2008 18:36

It's a possibility.

NotABanana · 26/05/2008 18:37

What is the problem, Pinions?

Not a lot.

DH had roast dinner at his mothers so he won't want anything.

I had salad for lunch and just fancy crackers and cheese really.

Seems you are not a name changer, pinions. What exactly is your problem? I hope you got as much support when you lost all your weight.
