To think it's antisocial to play music out loud in gardens of close proximity?

As my neighbours are now doing and smoking a joint too while their kids play beside them.

These neighbours argue loudly, they are constantly shouting one of their kids names almost constantly and they bang around. They literally make my house shake when they've argued and are slamming doors.

They've been out in the garden all afternoon playing their utterly shit music and it's loud. They're not the sort of people I'd ask to turn it down. Rough as toast is a fitting description for the adults.

What are your neighbours up to?

It's as anti social as the people that do it.

We have a few sets of neighbours the same, think nothing of banging music out.
If we're lucky it'll stop between 1-2am... I've also often noticed once it gets to around 11pm the volume gets whacked up.

They were probably lacking in brain cells even before they were introduced to smoking joints, they can't hear each other while chatting so shout over the music to be heard, never thinking to turn it down, so I wouldn't expect them to be much more than the inconsiderate waste of a human skin they're showing themselves to be.

Our neighbours are just getting started with a party. They have a marquee in the garden and a very loud live band. These are normal-sized enclosed suburban gardens!

Very antisocial. It’s going to be a long night…

I'd be tempted to get a bit of Peking Opera on the go, at full volume.

A marquee and a band in the garden suggests a special occasion. I wouldn't have a problem with that.

Regular banging music (and why is it always shit, banging music?) is a different matter.

Mate I have neighbours who for the last 5 weeks, every day. Every, fucking, day. Play shite techno, dance music for about 4 hours in the afternoon. The problem is they are trying to be considerate and play it quitely...so I hear boom, boom, pause, boom, uneven pause, boom....i am considering an anonymous post on the local fb group asking for just a day...one fucking day off.

Thing is I'm male, big, intimidating to look at and I know if I knock on the door things will go down hill....Plus I know her dad, mum, grandad (she's in her 30s) and she isn't doing on purpose I don't think they realise they apologised recently for the amount of noise their kids make...and if it was decent music I wouldn't care and quite enjoy it!!!!
