That Prince William should just bite the bullet and get that hair transplant

I get the feeling he’d love one. He looked so handy with hair. Being the future King probably precludes him from getting one as it’s seen as trivial etc but I reckon he secretly wants one.

Do they do royal tours of Turkey?

None of those things are comparable with replacing hair.

Do you know what the procedure is (genuine question)? If so, how isn't it comparible?

Tits used to be perky now saggy, cut into chest and add something extra. Head used to be hairy now baldy, cut into scalp and add something extra.

Can’t imagine anything worse than having to sit through a tennis match on a nice Sunday afternoon

If you're 9 in a suit.

soupyspoon · 13/07/2025 18:26

I think people underestimate baldness in men, its difficult for some of them, perhaps its difficult for him, perhaps its not

If I lost my hair as a woman no one would blink an eye if I had extensions or a wig but when men do it they're ridiculed.

I would want a hair transplant if I was a bloke. But Elton John's looks quite bad, unless they're better these days?

SaintGermain · 13/07/2025 18:28

Facebook sometimes shows me reels where men have hair systems fitted.

The men are sometimes crying so it’s obviously an emotional issue for some of them.

But there is something about that level of vanity in a man that just doesn’t appeal to me.

They are quite an impressive transformation for some though

Hair transplants always ALWAYS look obvious and ridiculous.

SaintGermain · 13/07/2025 18:30

I love this guy, what a difference the hair pieces make!

Perhaps he could ask the US president about tips for the folically challenged when he comes for his state visit.

LikeWhoUsesTypewritersAnyway · 13/07/2025 18:41

Urgh, what a nasty thread. 😖

TheFluffyTwo · 13/07/2025 18:43

He looks absolutely fine and to be honest I'm pleased that he's just getting on with aging normally and healthily. It's a much better example to set.

Lavenderandbrown · 13/07/2025 18:44

earlier today (USA) texted both my dc that William is killing it in the beard. He IS bald. It IS too late for follicle transplant as it’s best results to start filling in rather than starting with a bald pate. He’s pretty close to man in finance 6’5 trust fund blue eyes.

Out of interest, would it be nasty if it was about Wayne Rooney?

I’m watching too which is what prompted my post. I just think, bless you as I bet you must think about it.

The Royal men are quite hair challenged

I wish he would wear a hat, not good for him with all that sun.

Good point. There’s some extraordinary sycophancy about William and Kate on MN

Kellywiththelegs · 13/07/2025 18:54

He’s so much better looking now than a few years back, remember when he was in his fleece era? He looked like he worked at the local garden centre rather than a Prince of the Realm. He’s always had a nice physique and can carry clothes well and he looks great with a beard and a bit of a tan.

Of course it would. 🙄

Even if there is, why does it bother you? Why so invested in other peoples opinions? Weird. Confused

This. ^ Saying a man can't possibly be attractive unless he has a hair transplant is disgusting. Hmm

cumbriaisbest · 13/07/2025 19:00

@LikeWhoUsesTypewritersAnyway disgusting? No not really.

Poor William but even worse poor George.

Yes, me too. Glad to see Catherine in a practical looking hat-even if she’s a bit less visible.

I think he’s aging really well, he was a really handsome teenager, then went through a phase of just looking awkward/old before his time but now I think he looks good and comfortable in his own skin

Yes, his 40s are looking good on him. He went through a phase of looking aloof, bored and prematurely middle aged, but recently he's grown into his role and his looks. Also, he's tall and in good shape, which always helps.

Arf at looking like he worked at a garden centre. So true!

lightand · 13/07/2025 19:26

I think he is looking tired. Poor man.

“I think William was gorgeous in his late teens and as a very young man. Like a male version of his mother. Then he lost his hair and it did impact negatively on his looks…..”
I agree @IcedPurple

And he should probably trade Kate for Pippa, seeing as she has the much nicer arse.
Why should he have a hair transplant, you dreadfully shallow trollop?

WhistlingStraits · 13/07/2025 19:37

The Windsors all go through a brief period of pulchritude in youth which ends fairly rapidly. It’s tradition.
