Thermal roller blinds

Does anyone have experience of thermal roller blinds

I can buy them from 247 blinds which state they have some type of reflective backing to help keep the rooms cool

But they cosy £200 each (I would need three)

They are cut to size for you

Or I can buy normal ones off eBay for £40 and just cut them myself (assume no reflective backing)

We have curtains as well

Does anyone have experience with thermal reflective blinds

Do they help keep the rooms cool if I leave them closed all day when at work?

Basically are they worth the cost over the normal ones

The idea is they will help keep the rooms cooler and darker at night (leave them closed all day to help coolness at night)

I got mine from either B and Q or Argos, can't remember. Have a look online and see if they have the size you need. I fitted mine myself.
We have one in the kitchen which really reflects the heat in this weather.

I just have blackout blinds from Blinds 2 Go. They are pretty good. They do get warm but I can open the window behind them and that provides a breeze too.

Mine were about £100 for a bedroom window. Was a few years back.
