At what mortgage rate are you now?

Our 5 year fix for mortgage is coming to end in Dec and we are at 1.6% right now. We have a good LTV, around 45% remaining mortgage on the house value.
We have been looking around and the best rates we can find are around still at 3.8-3.9%.
If you renewed your mortgage recently, what rate are you on at now?

4.12% I was pretty happy with that

I fixed in October 2023 at 4.36% for 5 years. That was with a broker too, so best deal I could get at the time. I was previously on 1.79%

2.9% but fix ends soon. Expecting to go to 3.8-4%.

5.4% mortgage of 330k - monthly repayments of 1620

I have 4.3% on 225k with payments of £1600. I’m confused! Is it that mine has 16 years to go?

Yes will be - we are at the start of a 30 year term 😥

Oh I’m sorry, that’s tough.

4.69 from a 2023 product. I hope when this five year fix ends we can get something better.

DashboardConfession · 12/07/2025 22:00

2.19%, 3 years into a 10 year fixed rate. When it ends, we'll pay off the last £30k.

I got 1.9% on a 10 year fix at end of 2021. Probably the best financial decision I've made!

Your lender either hates you or wants to employ you, with foresight like that 😂
