To leave poorly 9 year old at home while I do school run?

I have a 9 year old dd (year 4) who’s off school today with a stomach bug.
I wouldn’t dream of usually leaving her alone but if she’s not well would you leave her for 20 minutes while getting the youngest from school?
I trust her and I know she’d be happy to stay here.

I'd ask a neighbour to sit with her, or a friend to collect your other child and take them to school.

I know it's happened now but yes I would in that situation, if she had some way of contacting you (ask Alexa to call you, or message from iPad)

Don't ask someone else to sit with her and catch the bug!

I can’t believe you took her in a shop for others to catch it ! That’s really selfish
