I see 100s of these photos through my work and I absolutely love them.

We also have around 40 old wedding dresses in storage.

Looks like a double wedding. Two brides each with a bouquet and two grooms.

I think there was a trend for a while for huge hats for bridesmaids like the one in the photo. It was probably very much a la mode for its time!

I don't think it is a double wedding because the 2 "couples" would be more centred surely? And the woman in the hat closer to the other "groom".

But obviously plenty of Mumsnetters will want to think people were as obsessed with guest dress colour then as they apparently are today.
