Constant low level headache

coffeegirl73 · 11/07/2025 11:13

I have this headache now for about 3 days. I take paracetamol and neurofen but nothing really helps. I think it’s the heat plus hayfever or sinus problem and then stress from work and worry about the weekend - ds birthday and dd boyfriend coming for a few days - have so much to do and am lagging in the heat. Anyone any tips for knocking it on the head .

Decongestant?

AmberSpy · 11/07/2025 11:35

Just a thought, do you need an eye test? Persistent low level headache for me usually signals my prescription has changed.

Are your teeth ok? I had ongoing pain in my head/face and since found I was battling a low level infection in the gum. It’s more pre les s gone now

Are you dehydrated? Drink plenty of water.

Thanks all - yeh am taking a nasal spray. Hmm teeth - I think I’m grinding them at night which isn’t helping

Get your eyes checked and check your blood pressure.

My glasses are quite new and my BP was normal last week

Try a sports drink, sometimes water isn’t enough in itself to rehydrate especially in extreme heat.

Sinus is a good shout the nasal sprays can sometimes make headaches worse (for me anyway).
