Last week i had a bout of dhiarria where on 2 occasions i had to rush to the loo with stomach pain...then the next morning i had small rabbit droppings poo...followed by the next day of a massive one thick and big but soft...
Since a week ago after the dhiarria ive been left with a feeling of pressure in my anus asthough something is still there and when i sit down its worse and achy feeling in my bottom...
I went to gp yestursay and she put a finger up and said i have a little hemeriod on the openjng which was purple but coukdnt feel anything else worrying or anything...
But j still have this pressure feeling ....
Has anyone had this and what was it please worries about ac or cc......im focused on it all the time now the feeling and dont no if thays making it worse

This is literally the feeling you get when you have haemorrhoids. It's not pleasant or comfortable but that's all it is. Don't let yourself get constipated (take a stool softener if you need) and it will shrink.

PeapodMcgee · 10/07/2025 15:54

It's a thrombosed hemorrhoid. It's purple because it's full of blood. It'll drain over a few days.

You can try Anusol OTC or Sheriproct (I think on prescription).

Go back in a week if still concerned, but this sounds normal.

From Google below

Hemorrhoids:
Swollen veins in the anus and rectum can cause a feeling of fullness, pressure, and discomfort.

Constipation:
Hardened stool can cause strain and a feeling of incomplete bowel movements, leading to rectal pressure.

Piles definitely feels like this - long time sufferer here. I actually had a flare up this this last week. Constant feeling of being not quite finished/pressure. It's a literal pain in the arse.

Theunamedcat · 10/07/2025 17:46

Sadly that's how it feels use the cream I always pop some on a tissue and poke it up a bit

The bonus is it contains something that makes it feel cold in this weather that is a bonus

ghostyslovesheets · 10/07/2025 17:48

I tend to avoid poo threads but - I had this initially, especially after exercising, turns out I had a polyp. Had it a few times in the past few years which is my signal to book yet another colonoscopy!

Yes just one thrombosed is agony, but if you are worried, go back in a few days, as I said.

How are you getting on Op? I have this too. I had it early June for several weeks. It went away but has come back. I’m waiting on a referral to pelvic physio as they think it’s pelvic floor related…. I’m not sure.

Bex4567 · 18/08/2025 23:57

It finanly went away thanks god

How long did it take? I have this exact feeling and I’m so worried!

Minecroft · 06/03/2026 18:23

mine still comes and goes . Pelvic physio couldn’t find any explanation. I’m now thinking it’s neuropathic . One one occasion as well as the pressure feeling I got shooting electrical shock feelings around my sacrum. That only happened once , a few months ago.

Thanks for the reply! It’s worrying me- been a few weeks now. I spoke to the gp over the phone and got some suppositories incase it’s internal piles. I do feel like it could be my pelvic floor, but I have really bad health anxiety with a fear of medical tests and doctors, so praying it just goes away. The more I worry, the worse it gets

One thing I have found helpful is doing piriformis release stretches on YouTube
