AIBU to expect sister to have treated me better

Our parents died and she has treated me badly over their will, sorting out their estate and selling the family home. She been obstructive at every stage, demanding and selfish. I've tried to sympathise with her as she was very reliant on our parents financially and emotionally. We are both in our late 40s. I've done all the paperwork and got no thanks whatsoever, just criticism. I do love my sister but to be honest I've been on the verge of a breakdown over it. It's been going on for just over 2 years. The house is about to sell but she's deliberately being slow to sign documents etc.

AIBU to step away from her once the legal stuff is settled.

YANBU I am DREADING this stage with my sister -we have never got on and she is a bully. I don’t intend to ever see her again after our parents are gone but she will be exactly as you describe so you have my every sympathy. Do what’s best for you, you are grieving, go easy on yourself

Sorry to hear that. It's been torture. Ask your parents to not have her as an executor

They won’t listen to that, very much The Golden Child to my Scapegoat

Can you afford counselling? It hasn’t cured my problems but it did help.
