For me it's when I'm sleeping in, maybe at the weekend or if I've worked a late shift and I hear cars going past in the morning around 8am and they are blasting music. It gives me a desire to want to slap them. I know they are well within their rights to do so, and therefore I am being unreasonable but I am just convinced they are annoying people inside 🤣 I'm not a morning person. Obviously.

The use of any kind of "minimising verb" as in:

Nip to the shops
Hop on the train
Jump on a call
Pop it in a email

Just no!

Falingoth · 09/07/2025 13:30

Slow drivers.
Faffers.

People who put the empty toilet roll cardboard tube on the top of the toilet or on the sink when there is a perfectly good bin by the toilet

Guilty as charged 😁 I do this and leave kitchen cupboards open drives dw nuts but in my defence I'm the bathroom tidy up fairy and make the empty packaging and finished tubes and empty shampoo bottles disappear.that dw leave's out.

Emilysmum90 · 09/07/2025 13:35

Anyone who starts a sentence or email with "As I said" or "I thought we talked about this." Both are SO fucking patronising and imply I wasn't paying enough attention in the first place. Most of the time they are dicks and said something totally different the first time around.

Cyclists on pavements, I get an overwhelming urge to push them over. People who don't stand on the right on escalators.

Anyone selling something tatty second hand who says "Great condition! Just needs a clean." ... why don't you clean up your own dirty stuff you lazy beggar, rather than expecting someone else to pay for it, take it away for you and then also clean it?

(I am pregnant and hate everyone right now)

Airport shops all on top of each other and those people in my way ! ( I am in their way too I know )
Supermarkets with an extra display at the end of each aisle making the trolley turn even harder !
supermarkets that do not employ enough staff and have one person doing it all. Feel sorry for the staff.
Refunds that take 5 to 10 working days when they can take the money straight away within hours.
Bad inconsiderate drivers.

plantperfector · 09/07/2025 13:40

People taking up too much interactional space, especially when they’re on their phones in a public place; groups of men shouting in the street; people who think they’re clever but their strategising is oh so apparent.

YodasHairyButt · 09/07/2025 13:41

Coat hangers

notnorman · 09/07/2025 13:42

People.

Katemax82 · 09/07/2025 13:44

I was edging out of my drive yesterday which is on a boat road, a woman came along in her car and rather than let me out just drove past but had to move slightly out of my way...fine, you would think (could have let me out but never mind) but as she passed me she glared right at me through her passenger window. I was furious!! I was in a bad mood but that gave me a huge rage!!! Either let me out or drive past and have the decency to not glare at me!!

funinthesun19 · 09/07/2025 13:45

Having to wait around / places being busy because other people have decided to come to the place where I have decided to go to.

People pressing the bell on the bus before my DD presses it.

Waiting to cross the road because people are driving their vehicles on it.

LadyHexham · 09/07/2025 13:46

Whooping
Just don't bloody do it.

the80sweregreat · 09/07/2025 13:47

Coat hangers are badly designed! I need some different ones , but it’s a faff rearranging the wardrobe and they are not cheap to buy anymore either so I stick with the not so good ones. All my own fault, but it annoys me.

Auroraloves · 09/07/2025 13:47

Waiting at the traffic lights behind a queue of cars, lights turn green why does it take them a fuckin age to get into first gear, take the handbrake off and fuckin move!!!???? It’s not a surprise, this is literally what we’ve been waiting for!!!

Katemax82 · 09/07/2025 13:48

People who put bottles which are lid down the wrong way up...my husband does it just to piss me off. You put the bottle the way the label is! Unless its a bottle with a lid at the top which youre trying to get the last bit out if so store upside down

Petsgalore · 09/07/2025 13:49

People who park next to me in an empty car park, people who come and sit next to me in an empty cinema or similar, gives me irrational rage.

urghhh47 · 09/07/2025 13:49

People incorrectly using "I" when it should be "me". Old people driving slowly. People walking slowly. Councils. People eating or drinking anywhere near me.

AgnesX · 09/07/2025 13:50

In a big Teams call eg like around 100 people when the presenter says good morning and loads of people then type good morning into the chat

And then all type thanks at the end.

FormerAnywhere · 09/07/2025 13:51

People talking on public transport. Ugh

Iheartmysmart · 09/07/2025 13:51

The irritating flat footed runner who goes past my flat at 5.30am every morning. All I can hear is the slap, slap, slap of his trainers. Either run properly or change your route you annoying tosser.

And people who pull out in front of my car then drive along at 10 miles under the speed limit. Why can’t they just wait for me to go past if they want to dither.

BedlingtonWillow · 09/07/2025 13:51

Belladog1 · 09/07/2025 12:02

Carol, the weather woman on BBC Breakfast. Don't know why ... but I get the rage every time she comes on my screen.

It's the way all the other presents fawn over her. Why?

GonnaeNoDaeThatJustGonnaeNo · 09/07/2025 13:51

People getting in my way in the swimming pool when I’m trying to swim.

BlueandPinkSwan · 09/07/2025 13:52

VaddaABeetch · 09/07/2025 11:15

People cycling on the footpath who ring their bell to tell me to get out of their way. So I should step in the road? I will yeah

I don’t care if you have kids on bikes. I’m not stepping out of your way.

Extending dog leads and the owner letting their dog run uncontrolled yards ahead.
I want to take the lead and throttle the owner.

KookyLurker · 09/07/2025 13:53

People who choose to snack in public places and leave crumbs all over shared seats.

I have children with severe allergies and crumbs on seats has long been enough to trigger my DC's eczema for months. Crumbs everywhere give me the absolute rage.

Utterlyconfusednow · 09/07/2025 13:53

Pigeons. They can’t help being fat, greedy, parasitical, bone idle bastards whilst offering nothing tuneful and being unbelievably, awfully noisy and shitting in the bird bath but I loathe them with a passion. And I want to kill them.

Beenaboutabit · 09/07/2025 13:54

HurdyGurdy19 · 09/07/2025 11:01

The way my husband hangs washing on the line, to the point where I have forbidden him to touch any of my clothes.

He hangs his boxers along the leg seam, for example, instead of from the waistband. He hangs t shirts without straightening them first. He doesn't straighten socks before pegging them out. We don't iron, so these things are important.

And probably worst of all, doesn't colour co-ordinate the pegs with the item, or even use the same coloured pegs on each item.

I really have to restrain myself from going out and re-hanging his stuff correctly 😂

Edited

I both love you and your attention to detail and feel for your DH, who in all fairness sounds like he’s pulling his weight albeit without colour coordinating his pegs
