I like them. If you do go for it. They aren’t too expensive and nothing difficult to alter if you hate it eg not real tiles you’d have to chisel off.

ThreePointOneFourOneFiveNine · 07/07/2025 22:40

I like them. My DH would hate them. If you like them then do it. Worst case scenario is you redo in a few years if you regret it. I’d go with light walls and see if you can find a way to match that green somewhere else in the room with accessories, eg towels.

Hohofortherobbers · 07/07/2025 22:41

Not too quirky at all. Look lovely, what's the paint colour though, can you link to that to save us googling

Hohofortherobbers · 07/07/2025 22:43

I like the paint too

FfaCoff · 07/07/2025 22:45

Not quirky at all. Possibly the type of design that may look dated quite quickly but as others have said they're not a big deal to replace. I really like them!

AngryBird6122 · 07/07/2025 22:54

Ooh great thank you all! I love them and yes no issue to replace at all. I am just whacking them down easily and they look great. Definitely going to match the towels or something with the green

Just popped in to say I think both choices are great and work well together. Pic when you've got some paint next to the tiles please?

AllTheWatersTurnedToClouds · 08/07/2025 14:27

Lovely - paint is so pretty. I love a quirky downstairs loo.

I've just moved and plan some fabulous wallpaper in ours

Notellinganyone · 08/07/2025 16:40

I love peignoir - my spare room is that colour and I am planning to redecorate my bedroom in it.

Lilactimes · 08/07/2025 22:02

I love them and the colour!
didnt know this colour before - I had my bedroom Sulking Room pink and am going to do my bathroom setting plaster…
but this looks really nice!! May get a tester!

Jubaju · 09/07/2025 21:35

Love them 🥰 My downstairs loo is peignoir! Big fan :)

TheSilentSister · 09/07/2025 23:44

Great choices OP, it will look fab and not too 'out there' at all.

bridgetreilly · 10/07/2025 09:55

There’s literally nothing quirky about that at all.

Ketzele · 10/07/2025 12:32

It will look lovely.

fuzzyfeltfan · 11/07/2025 16:57

love them, very retro looking. I'd worry at how long they'd last and stay stuck down once water got to them though? ive never had the individual adhesive tiles and always just had the full lino floor covering in bathrooms / kitchens so not sure how good they are and how well they stay stuck down.

I'm normally a beige/greige/grey kinda gal but fed up with it so branching out. IMO the tiles are quirky

FountainsSummer · 12/07/2025 07:30

Gorgeous - both the tiles and the paint.
Go for it 100%
I'm so sick of bland.

Iwantmyoldnameback · 12/07/2025 07:37

I like the tiles but not the paint but it's your house your choice..

AngryBird6122 · 12/07/2025 10:44

@WellWoman here you go. It looks dull here but much brighter in person! Need to tidy the edges an bit. Ordered a shelf for the radiator and mirror and some artwork. Work in progress!

Looks lovely Op. A green plant would be nice addition.
