About hearing a just turned 6 year old call another child the same age a ‘mother fucking bitch’

And what do you expect social services to do? Get a grip

upandleftthenright · 07/07/2025 17:28

Good grief.

Strawberryyy8 · 07/07/2025 17:30

Sorry, posted before finished. And running the street (busy bus route) without their parent knowing. Or caring? And sometimes going onto the roads. They are 7,8 and 6.

Oh, and none have car seats/boosters. Dad says they’re for ‘babies’

That’s quite some drip feed there 🙄

Ponoka7 · 07/07/2025 17:34

Report them being out in their own. Report the father to the police for not using car seats. Have a word with the school. Don't get petty with SS, but you could say that the children's swearing is extreme. If the children are in the road alone, it's fine to phone the police.

As a whole picture now you have posted again, yes I would report this family to SS or school safeguarding, if not the police.

MustyDooDah · 07/07/2025 17:37

The car seats - police.

HRTQueen · 07/07/2025 17:37

Yes please do report

Children are being neglected

stichguru · 07/07/2025 17:38

The name calling on it's own, SS have barely got time to follow-up serious abuse or neglect cases, they won't have time for a kid using a bit of bad language! However the other 2 things ARE serious neglect and so yes report to SS or to school. And I would mention the bad language because it's an indication that the child is hearing that language regularly, which makes one worry about the home, or, much worse, being directly called those things by parents, which is another indicator of abuse.

ShamrockShenanigans · 07/07/2025 17:40

So if we all said 'No, don't bother'.

You wouldn't?

I don't know why you're asking such a silly question given your subsequent posts.

BuffetTheDietSlayer · 07/07/2025 17:42

Stop attention seeking and just call them.

And it took you a whole 5 minutes to post the rest?

HRTQueen · 07/07/2025 17:56

Oh look what a surprise lets get at the the op when she is concerned about children and unsure what to do

honestly some on here are just nasty

op just report, no one wants contact with SS but really is in the best interests of the children involved

Worth mentioning to a school DSL if applicable.

Goody2ShoesAndTheFilthyBeast · 07/07/2025 17:59

Yes, you should report your concerns.

Corvidqueen · 07/07/2025 18:01

I smell clickbait.

DiscoBob · 07/07/2025 18:10

Saying swearwords isn't really enough to get SS involved. Have you never heard a kid swear before? Honestly that's ridiculous for you to suggest involving the social.

Ouch. But fair.
