when some jumped up little mare keeps hitting him and tormenting him?

The moment he shoves her away, he gets roared at with the old "you cant hit me Im a girl!!!"..

And it was a shove nothing more. She was in his face completely tormenting him. I was taught If your big enough to dish it out then you should be prepared to reap the consequences....I have taught him to walk away and i believe it shoudl be you dont really hit anyone, never mind you dont hit girls, but what gives a girl the right to be in someones face and then play the "you cant do that to me Im a girl" card.

Poor DS has come away saying "mum i didnt hit her but she was nearly spitting in my face, tormenting me"

really though he should tell her that we're living in an equal age and he could just as well 'tell' on her.

LittleBella · 25/05/2008 21:10

How old are they? What are the circumstances?

Alambil · 25/05/2008 21:11

She started it - he's defending himself; regardless of if she's a girl or a boy he can do what it takes to get her to back off (within reason of course - not talking about serious pulverising!)

lou33 · 25/05/2008 21:12

tell him to say in this day and age of equal opportunities, he does not discriminate who he will defend himself against, based purely on their gender

stoppinattwo · 25/05/2008 21:12

he is 9 she is 12.........in a playground at the park....she just seemed to keep following him around tormenting him, im not quite sure why. I wa wiht DD too so i couldnt really be in 2 places at once

lol lou....i dont think i could even remeber that one!!!

I must add he did say he felt like clouting her...she was bugging him worse than his little sister!!! but he didnt

LittleBella · 25/05/2008 21:15

Is her mother there? Can you tell her what her DD is up to?

They're both children and she's older than him. Of course he's allowed to defend himself against her.

LittleBella · 25/05/2008 21:16

Congrats on having such a self-controlled DS btw

windygalestoday · 25/05/2008 21:16

i think he should say if she acts like girl he will treat her like one if she hits him he should hit her back imo.

stoppinattwo · 25/05/2008 21:18

i do know of her mother but she wasnt at the park...the girl used to be in DS's school so I think that is how they got talking

i just dont like this automatic assumption that she had a right to be so in his face and let the moment he retaliates she throw that at him. I mean lets face it DP would never raise his hand to me but if i ever felt the need to hit him in any way Im sure i would need my bestest running shoes on.

thanks LB btw ....he did have quite a viscious look on his face when he shoved though...as though he was wishing there was a dirty great puddle in the way

warn her that at her age she can be charged with assault

LittleBella · 25/05/2008 21:28

Yes, point out that your DS hasn't reached the age of criminal responsibility, but she has.

stoppinattwo · 25/05/2008 21:31

Oh yeahhhh I didnt think of that
