Help! Random alarm going off on my phone and I can’t find where it’s from!

For the past few weeks I’ve had an alarm that goes off on my phone every Sunday morning at 9am. The problem is it’s not an alarm I’ve set! It’s not where my normal alarms would be, it has a completely different tune than my normal alarms have and I can’t find where to disable it!
For reference I’ve got an iPhone. I’ve looked at all my apps and I can’t find one that would have an alarm. I have no idea where to look or how to get rid of it. Has anyone got any ideas?

Does your phone have "routines", this happened to me and I'd accidentally set some sort of motivation alarm and couldn't find it for weeks. Mines samsung though

You used to be able to set reminders on your phone, maybe it’s that.

Do you have the Alexa app. You can set alarms on it.

Calendar? Mine randomly goes off if I've accidentally added things

Do you have an Apple Store nearby? If so I’ve found their Genius Bar very helpful in finding and changing some odd random things I’d done by accident. You make appointments online but it’s easy and free.

Ask Siri to show them to you.

What comes up on screen when this alarm goes off? Does it look like what pops up with normal alarms, with the orange snooze button and the stop button?
Or does it look different on screen?

Bikergran · 06/07/2025 19:52

Go to the Apple shop and ask the geeks.

senmommabear · 07/07/2025 06:26

@TruthOrAlethiometerit looks like my normal alarms with just a snooze and stop button but with my other alarms if I press anywhere else on the screen it takes me to the clock app whereas this one doesn’t it just stays on the screen with the snooze button.
I have checked the health app, calendar and any other apps I can think of and haven’t had any luck. I have also asked Siri and it just says the alarm can’t be found. Looks like I might have to go to the Apple Store which is annoying as my nearest is an hour away!

thanks for all the suggestions!

Try the health app again -

It could be the Sleep/Wake Up alarm that is activated. The alarm is connected to the Health app, and can also be activated by the Sleep Focus profile.

If you do not want the alarm to ring, you can delete it from the Health app.
Open Clock App → Select Alarm at the bottom → Tap Change → Tap Edit Sleep Schedule in Health → Tap Edit in Full Schedule → Scroll down and tap Delete Schedule → then disable Sleep Schedule.
