To think a lot of diversity hires are being set up to fail?

Ticking boxes is not the same as inclusion. I’ve seen workplaces parade new hires from underrepresented groups, then throw them into hostile or chaotic environments with no real support. It’s performative, not progress.

Large organisations are full of pathologies. They are chaotic places and middle management upwards have to survive and operate in chaos.

Everyone dropped in these positions is set up to fail. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Diversity candidates will sink or swim like everyone else.
