To think being a woman of your word still matters - even when life is busy or feelings change?

I feel like people talk a lot about intentions, emotions, boundaries, which are all valid but sometimes I wonder if we undervalue just following through. If you say you’ll do something, show up, or keep a promise… do you actually do it?

AIBU to think being a woman of your word says more about someone than all the talk in the world?

I think it matters a lot. I'm really trying to do this, and honour my commitments. (Ie calling someone back when I said I would)

Life isnt easy, with it just being me and my autistic dd. But I focus on making less commitments and easy ones so that I can be someone of my word.

My thinking is, keep things simple and you will be reliable
