Santander crap banking app?

I have had two bank accounts, business and personal with Santander for about 20 years. I am unable to search through an and pull up a list of transactions alphabetically. Say I want to see all the debits to Mr Smith; well I can’t. I can only search by amount - with hundreds of business transactions, I have no idea what the amounts are? I have requested they look into this for YEARS now - they’ve just updated their App again, and still I can’t do it. (It is possible if I download a PDF of each statement and then search, but what a bloody faff)
AIBU to expect a basic search like this, especially within a business bank account, and can you do this with other banks?

It is crap. And my login is through my business account so I can hardly do anything on the personal banking bit. Plus they've stopped sending weekly texts with my balance, which I really liked.

But can I be bothered to change bank?

Can you not just export to excel?

I got a Santander account for the moving bonus and it was so awful I ditched it after I got my £150 or whatever it was. I don’t know or understand who signed off their app and general system.

I did mention in the previous post that I can download to a PDF and then search - but I just want to search IN the actual App or website and pull up a list of ‘Mr Smith’s’ payments. I don’t want to have to download information to search, if that makes sense?
