To think my living arrangements are OK?

Not sure if AIBU is the right place to post this. As the title suggests I have lived happily in a cupboard since 1968. I am a teddy. It’s warm and comfy with all the amenities I need and my own little family for company. Granted they are an adopted family of spiders. I do also have access to MN whenever I wish. It’s recently come to my attention that some posters on MN are worried about me and want me to leave my safe space. I am grateful for your concerns but would find any changes to my living arrangements very triggering. I really don’t think I am missing out on anything by remaining in my cupboard?

Well Teddy you made me laugh!

And teddies are supposed to make people happy so you must be doing something right.

What sort of bear? Have you a case, hat and a marmalade sandwich?

QuantumLevelActions · 03/07/2025 20:28

But do you go to a good school?

FuzzyPuffling · 03/07/2025 20:51

Do you ever get out for a picnic?

PinkPauline · 03/07/2025 22:13

@123gogogo Aw thank you I feel all warm and fuzzy now. I like to make people happy. @Shesellsseashellsnotinmystreet no not that one I am very much an ordinary teddy all be it with pink fur. I have a brother with blue fur who I haven’t seen for a while. Sorry for the gender stereotypes with regards to the blue and pink colours but we are very old. @QuantumLevelActions Unfortunately I didn’t attend formal education being exclusively home schooled using the Montessori method.@FuzzyPuffling I do sometimes have a ‘picky tea’ in the cupboard which is a little bit like a picnic I suppose.

You really should get out Pauline. Agoraphobia can be helped with therapy.
