Small positive changes

I'm peri-menopausal which isn't too bad so far, but I'm also anaemic, which is being treated and is very slowly resolving. Work is busy and I'm tired. I have two children 12 and 14 who are doing well thank goodness. I know there are little things I could be doing to make positive changes - better eating, making sure I'm connecting with the kids/DH/friends, stuff I can do around the house but I'm so stuck in treadmill mode I can't think of them. I'd love to hear small things you've done over the last while that have made a positive difference - buying a rice cooker (DH desperately wants one), hanging new curtains, whatever!

The only thing I've done is to make sure I move around in some fashion every day, even if it's only a 15 minute walk. It's great and I highly recommend it.

Hit me with the good stuff!

I am interested in the answers!
Starting to read books again has been a big one for me. Also not wfh unless I have to, I feel more positive if I get out.

I'm trying to read more books. I tend to default to TV, then feel bored and lazy because of it - I need to get myself out of the habit of just lolling in front of the screen.
