Is this a vomiting bug or something else?

DD 19 months has been throwing up for the last three days. She was fine all day today and yesterday and threw up when I put her down for bed.

on Wednesday she threw up once in the afternoon and two-three times throughout the night.

She still has wet and dirty nappies but I’m not sure why she’s still vomiting when it’s been three days? She does have CMPA but hasn’t had anything that contains dairy. Hasn’t had anything that’s new either so not sure if I can say it’s due to an allergy to another food group.

Is it just a bug?

I'm just getting over viral gastro enteritis. Didn't realise how severely dehydrated I had become. Please be very careful with little ones. Time for proper medical advice I think.

Have you spoken to a doctor? I would have done 100% especially with it now being weekend. Contact 111 if not for advice and to see if there’s an out of hours GP available

The reason I haven’t spoken to a doctor is because she is still drinking, has wet and dirty nappies and is only throwing up once in the evening (Thursday and today) it was on Wednesday when she threw up a couple of times but since yesterday it’s only been once when I put her down for bed at night.

She does attend nursery so not sure what to think.

I’ve taken her to the doctors in the past with vomiting when she first started nursery and they said as long as she had wet nappies, wasn’t lethargic and was still herself she would be fine.

Is it normal for a bug to last more than 48 hours?
