Moving to Florida

Has anyone relocated from the UK to Florida or the USA and used a relocation company who sort all your paperwork etc? If so are they necessary and are there any you would reccomend? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks :)

Good luck with the move. Are you familiar with Florida, and the state of politics there and in the US? It could be a huge culture shock for you. Most of the USA even thinks Florida is strange and they have a funny game to illustrate this by simply doing an internet search that is "your birthday" + "florida man" to see what news headlines surface. It gives you a taste of just how bizarre people can be there.

Goodness Op… to say this will be a complex process is an understatement.

Suffice to say the US isn’t exactly encouraging of foreign business on its shores.

Just a small point - spending time there and living there are two very very very different things. Research carefully and don’t commit to long term until you really spend time there.
