AIBU to expect “excellent condition” clothing to not smell of pets?

The lovely dress I ordered from
Vinted stinks. It was described as being in excellent condition and wasn’t cheap but it smells of dogs. Would it be U for me to complain about the incorrect description or should I just stick it in the wash and accept the order? I think the amount I paid is what annoys me most about this.

Id be tempted to ask for discount or return as its not excellent condition

I wouldn’t say “excellent” but it’s fine, yes.

I’d complain if it’s not as described, and about the smell. Smell can be hard to get out of clothes.

On Vinted I only buy New With Tags. When you view the photos the sellers often don't bother to even iron the items, which says a lot about them as people. I'm just a fussy cow.
